Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service is looking for lifeguards. Application deadline March 5, 2017 5pm

Explore:  is a bursary program open to full-time Canadian students. The upcoming 2017 session will offer 7,700 students a $2,200 Explore bursary to participate in a five-week intensive French immersion program at one of 21 participating Canadian universities or colleges.  The Explore program is open to all levels of French speakers, from beginner to advanced, so previous experience with French is not necessary. It's free and easy to apply at  Explore runs during the summer months.  High school students can register to receive a grade 12 French Immersion credit (Cultural Experience 12). The YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange:  is a unique national exchange program that brings together youth from various communities across the country. Forum for Young Canadians has been Canada's premiere non-partisan, bilingual civics education program for four decades. well over 300 participants from across Canada will have the opportunity to go to Ottawa and meet with Senators, Members of Parliament, senior public servants, members of the national media and business leaders. It is an amazing opportunity for students to become more engaged in our political process as they examine the issues that affect our country during a week of exciting activities and simulations.
